Liquidity at Your Fingertips

Enjoy the high returns of an FD with the freedom to withdraw whenever needed.

Bharat Bank’s Suvidha Deposit is a unique fixed deposit scheme engineered to provide maximum convenience (Suvidha) to our depositors. Unlike traditional FDs where the entire amount is locked, Suvidha allows you to withdraw funds in small units to meet urgent requirements. The remainder of your deposit continues to earn high interest at the original contracted rate, ensuring that your financial emergencies don't compromise your long-term savings goals.

  1. How is a Suvidha Deposit different from a regular FD? In a regular FD, you must break the whole deposit for any withdrawal. In Suvidha, you can withdraw a portion in units and keep the rest intact.

  2. What is the minimum unit for withdrawal? Withdrawals are generally allowed in multiples of ₹1,000.

  3. Will the interest rate change on the remaining balance after a withdrawal? No, the remaining balance continues to earn interest at the rate fixed at the time of account opening.

  4. Is there a interest/penalty for partial withdrawal? A nominal premature penalty is applied only to the specific units withdrawn, not to the entire deposit amount.

  5. Can I avail a loan against a Suvidha Deposit? Yes, you can avail of a loan or overdraft facility against the balance remaining in your Suvidha account.

  • Minimum Deposit: Typically starts at ₹10,000 to allow for meaningful unitisation.

  • Premature Penalty: Applicable only on the amount withdrawn (standard 1% below applicable rate).

  • Administrative Charges: NIL for partial withdrawal processing.
